EuroCC@Greece and the IT Dept. of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki announced the 14th Course of HPC Training Series with the subject “Biosciences using High Performance Computing (HPC) Systems”.

Presentation languages: Greek & English

Audience: This course was intended for members of the academic community and industry (researchers, data scientists, ML engineers, etc.) who are interested in the utilization of High Performance Computing technologies in Biosciences.

Location: Online via Zoom

Description: This course provided an introduction on using HPC infrastructure for computational bioscience applications (and related fields), through practical examples, use cases and specific methodologies.

Objectives:

  • Familiarize potential users with the end-to-end processes of deploying and optimizing high-performance computing workflows for cutting-edge bioscience tasks on modern infrastructures such as the “Aristotelis” HPC system.
  • Understand how HPC accelerates and scales bioscience applications.
