EuroCC@Greece announces the “HPC Beginner Training Event” EuroCC@Greece & EuroCC@Cyprus, on November 14-16, on-site at The Cyprus Institute’ premises. The event will be available via Zoom for participants from Greece.
The event will provide hands-on training on how to remotely access and use the National Competence Center infrastructure, basics of parallel programming, and an introduction to Data Science.
The aim of the event is to help user communities in Cyprus and Greece utilize EuroHPC opportunities, such as access to EuroHPC high-performance infrastructure, participation in EuroHPC research and innovation calls and collaboration with other EU members of EuroHPC.
The event is part of the EuroCC project and the National Competence Center activities for both Greece and Cyprus.
Target audience: Interested users in Cyprus, familiar with at least one programming language, such as C/C++, Fortran, Python, R.

Between 16:00 – 17:00, there will be a Joint EuroCC/SimEA seminar with speaker Professor Bert de Groot of the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, which participants can follow if they wish.
