Overview

The marketing communication and dissemination strategy of EuroCC@Greece, coordinated by GRNET S.A. – National Infrastructures for Research and Technology in the context of Task 11.7, is designed to support the overall mission of the EuroCC initiative for all National Competence Centers: to enable the efficient uptake of High-Performance Computing (HPC) technologies across Greece. The strategy aligns with the three core pillars of the project – advancing research competitiveness, improving public sector effectiveness and promoting industrial innovation – by ensuring targeted communication, stakeholder engagement and visibility of services and results.

The approach combines structured outreach, consistent branding and multi-channel communication to reach diverse audiences, including industry (with emphasis on SMEs), academia,  public administration and the wider innovation ecosystem.

Strategic Objectives

The communication and marketing activities of EuroCC@Greece are closely aligned with its operational priorities:

  • HPC Access & Infrastructure Awareness: Promote access pathways to national and European HPC infrastructures, including the existing ARIS national supercomputer and EuroHPC systems, ensuring users understand available resources and application procedures.
  • Training & Skills Development Promotion: Disseminate and maximise participation in the HPC Training Series, workshops and upcoming MOOCs, targeting both beginners and advanced users in HPC, AI and Big Data.
  • Technology Transfer & Industry Engagement: Increase awareness among SMEs and industry stakeholders regarding the benefits of HPC adoption, open calls (e.g. EuroHPC and FFplus) and collaboration opportunities.
  • Ecosystem Awareness & Community Building: Support competence mapping activities and promote collaboration between academia, research centers, industry and public sector organisations.

Target Audiences

The strategy addresses a broad yet well-defined audience:

10. Recognition & Knowledge Transfer within the EuroCC Network

As a result of the effectiveness and maturity of its Marketing, Communication and Dissemination Strategy, EuroCC@Greece was invited by the EuroCC project to participate in a structured peerlearning and mentoring initiative across NCCs, aimed at sharing best practices and strengthening collaboration within the network.

This initiative connected experienced NCCs with others seeking guidance in specific thematic areas related to communication, outreach, and user engagement.

Within this framework, NCC Greece contributed as a mentor in the following areas:

  • Theme 1: Building CRM / Tracking Repeat Users – mentoring NCC North Macedonia
  • Theme 6: YouTube Use / Strategy – mentoring NCC Serbia

Through these activities, EuroCC@Greece actively supported knowledge exchange and capacity building across the EuroCC network, reinforcing its role as a contributor to communication excellence and user engagement practices at the European level.

The Marketing, Communication and Dissemination Strategy of EuroCC@Greece plays a critical role in achieving the project’s objectives. By combining targeted messaging, consistent branding, dedicated promotional activities and strong collaboration with European and National partners, the NCC effectively promotes HPC adoption and contributes to Greece’s digital transformation within the broader EuroHPC ecosystem.
